Explained on Youtube

Youtube is a great resource of entertainment and education. I have frequently used youtube-published-content in presentations to explain things. Here I’ld like to highlight a few great videos explaining some concepts in a very good way. Good explanations are

- understandeable (plain language, laymens terms)

- entertaining (you don’t fall asleep, keeps your attention up)

- correct (duh)

- not too long (see entertaining…)

- not just text (pictures say more than a thousand words, so do videos!)

Let’s see two examples now:

These videos are actually part of larger collections of videos done by the same people. You might want to check them out as well. I haven’t had the time, opportunity or skills to create some of my own, but if you do (and did) tell me in the comments and share the links.

I hope you liked that post

I have used YouTube for instructional video, like doing things in wordpress. It was very helpful. I even tried with knitting, but i couldn't quite get it right. it's also very good for fitness how-tos if you have no idea how to perform an exercise.
